Issue 33: June 2025

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication."

 New in: Our Canvas Carry-all

By ging-home on June 20, 2025

This month, we introduced the Canvas Carry-all, a piece designed to do more so you can carry less. Thoughtfully made for daily life, it’s spacious, structured, and functional without feeling bulky. With a zip closure, laptop sleeve, bottle holder, and multiple pockets, it’s built to move with you from work to errands to weekends away.

Made from durable cotton canvas with silver hardware and an embroidered finish, it’s a practical upgrade from synthetic totes. Designed to feel good in your hands and fit effortlessly into your routine, it’s the everyday essential you didn’t know you needed.

The artwork featured on this bag is something we’re especially excited to share. Titled “Coconuts & Clarity,” it was illustrated by Sri Lankan artist Nelusha Lindagedara and inspired by the quiet, resourceful beauty of island life. A kurumba in hand, a chair woven from coconut leaves, shade from a tree — a simple moment that captures calm and clarity. It’s a reminder to savour the small things and let them guide us toward a more thoughtful rhythm.

Earlier this month, we also joined the Yara Wellness Lounge pop-up and loved connecting with the other vendors and everyone who dropped by.

"Love the bag btw! So glad I can put my water cup/bottle inside its own pocket and close the bag!"

Sustainable Living Tips

Host a clothes swap

Instead of buying new clothes, organize a clothes swap with friends or family. It’s a fun way to refresh your wardrobe, save money, and keep perfectly good clothing out of landfills.

Make use of scraps

Save citrus peels, herb stems, and vegetable off-cuts to make infused cleaners, broths, or natural air fresheners. It's a great way to reduce waste and get more out of what you already have.
